Tony and Merritt met in high school through a mutual friend and began dating senior year. As it came time for college, they decided to give long distance a try as Merritt would go to swim for Penn State and Tony would be a cadet at Texas A&M. After four years, and many visits back and forth, Tony proposed to Merritt while visiting her in Happy Valley in June 2012. She said yes! The couple is very excited to begin their journey together soon after they both graduate in May. They will be getting married in Houston on May 18, 2013 and taking a honeymoon to the beautiful St. Maarten! They will then reside in College Station until Tony begins training as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army in Ft. Benning, Georgia in fall 2013.

Jeffrey proposed December 23, 2012 and their wedding date is June 29, 2013.
